The Spalding Hotel, affectionately as the Barbed Wire Pub and Museum is located about 170 kilometres north of Adelaide at the lower end of the Flinders Ranges in the small rural town of Spalding.
You will discover all of the traditional country pub hospitality including meals, coffee, cold beverages, accommodation as well as one of Australia's largest collections of antique barbed wire and fencing equipment which is on display within the pub.
The collection includes over 500 varieties of antique barbed wire mounted on boards and labelled with brand origin and date of manufacture, as well as over 200 iron droppers and a multitude of fencing tools.
Entry to the barbed wire collection if free, but we encourage people to make a donation to cancer research if they have enjoyed their experience.
