Loch Brewery and Distillery is nestled in the picturesque village of Loch.
Loch brewery and distillery brew all beers here on site in our 12 hectolitre brewing system designed by us. The beers are all real ales, bottle and cask conditioned, this process producing a gentle carbonation. They are all, unpasteurised, unfiltered, natural beers and contain no preservatives.
The brew is made using Australian and New Zealand grown and malted barley as our base grain and specialty malts from the UK. Old World, English hop varieties for a very classic and traditional flavour.
As well as brewing we are also distilling spirits here in our hand beaten Alembic Copper Pot stills. You can view these in the Cellar Door. Our whisky spirit is currently aging in oak casks and we are expecting to bottle this for release in very early 2018.
There is currently three gins available. We use carefully selected dried botanical's which we hand grind with stone wheels and mortar and pestle. Then they are distilled all together in one single pass through the pot still....
